Honorable Mention: Newnan Outlaws
Right now ABA looks UNSTOPPABLE in league play. If Decatur Army stays undefeated then they are on a collision course 10/27 with ABA and that should let us know if Decatur Army is a legit contender or not. But until then they’ll need to handle what’s in front of them before they could even imagine an undefeated match up with ABA. Quiet as it is kept the Atlanta Vikings have built one of the most solid teams at the age group. Their one and only loss came to DA week one in a one score game. Don’t be surprised if they are right there at the end. The Vikings and Steelers matchup this weekend and it should be a good one. This game will determine seeding for the MAYFC playoffs as there is a race for the #2 seed at the moment. If the Vikings play their style of football, then East Metro will be in for a long Saturday afternoon. The Newnan Outlaws are quietly putting together a solid resume themselves coming off an early season loss. They have a showdown with ABA in a couple of weeks that should be a good test of where they stack up against the rest of the pack.
